Veterinarian: Full time (30+ hours)
Pay Range: $60-65/hour plus benefits; including health insurance and pet wellness care

• Responsible for daily care of all surgical patients including performing presurgical examinations and high-volume spay/neuter surgeries for  shelter animals, partner shelters and the general public qualifying for low-cost services
• Promote health and wellness of animals by performing physical examinations, administering vaccinations and performing appropriate testing for clients visiting our wellness clinic
• Record actions by documenting and updating forms, reports, animal records and reporting diseases to public health officials. Ensure compliance with veterinary procedures, ethics, policies, and relevant statutes
• Operate diagnostic equipment like ultrasound and radiography machines and interpret the resulting images
• Be familiar with current quarantine and testing procedures that combat the spread of diseases to humans and to other animals according to established government regulations
• Perform euthanasia services for terminally ill, behaviorally unwell and sick and/or suffering animals

Certified Veterinary Technician:
Part time/Full Time(25-30+ hours) / depending upon scheduling needs
Pay Range: $15-17/hour depending upon experience plus benefits if deemed full time (30+ hours)

• Responsible for daily care of all surgical patients
• Practice and perform reduced stress restraint for clinic patients
• Efficiently pre-medicate, induce and intubate any and all patients as necessary
• Ability to monitor anesthesia with a clear understanding of abnormal conditions
• Ability to respond appropriately in the event of an emergency
• Administer first aid for emergencies
• Draw blood samples and process samples using in house analyzer
• Effectively team lead displaying a positive attitude to all staff and volunteers
• Create and maintain a clean and organized environment
• Keep organized record of treatments and procedures for all clinic patients
• Communicate in an effective and professional manner with clients
• Maintain a high level of customer service
• Ability to perform all job functions of a veterinary assistant and any other duties assigned by supervisor

Animal Caretaker:
Pay Range: $13/hour

• Work as a team member to care for the animals
• Walk dogs
• Handle cats
• Demonstrate fear-free care to the animals
• Clean kennels and cages
• Administer medications to the animals of the shelter
• Provide food and water to the animals
• Keep a clean, sanitary space for animals
• Be able to be on your feet for multiple hours
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Effectively lead a team of volunteers
• Create and maintain a clean and organized environment
• Record daily observations of the animals
• Communicate in an effective and professional manner with clients (as needed)
• Maintain a high level of customer service
