![]() Thud is a 8 year old Black Persian and loving his new home. We adopted thud in February of 2001. In this pic he is showing off his summer haircut. He is now Top cat since his playmate passed away from renal failure. In September he received a new playmate our Daughter Olivia and he is Great big brother. Thank you Adopt for brining such a wonderful cat into our lives.
Fred
My name is Fred, and I was adopted by my mom and dad in November, 2002. Just this last autumn they brought home a new baby brother. Mom and dad were afraid of how I would act around him, because I am very used to being an only child. I have been on my best behavior, and mom and dad say they are so proud of me. He is very little, and isn`t much fun, but makes a lot of noise! I am waiting for him to get bigger, because my mom and dad say that when he can run and throw and chase we will play in the woods near our house. Laura M. Curley Cooper Dear A.D.O.P.T., I just wanted to write to you and say thank you. I love my puppy. I adopted him from you guys about a year ago when he was only about three and a half months and he is now one year old. I figured I would send you a couple of pictures ( even though I have a bunch more) now that he has gotten bigger. He is looking more and more like a Staffordshire Terrier every day. He is so perfect for me and I wouldn`t have it any other way. If it wasn`t for the A.D.O.P.T. center, I would not have Cooper today. I am so thankful for everything you do over there. Thanks again for all your help. Cooper and I both appreciate it.

Kenya
![]() Kenya is doing really good. She is the best family pet that we have ever had. She loves going out for her walks, she starts her crying as soon as we say “want to go for a walk”. She just enjoys being part of our family. We are so happy with her and as you can see she fits right in with our family. We took her this past week to get groomed and the groomer said that she was a great girl and cooperated in every way. She said that she howled like a dinosaur from Jurassic Park movie, because she didn’t like being in the cage. We only cage her when we are all gone, in the evening she sleeps on her special bed upstairs in our bedroom. She has another special bed that we use in the family room for her. Other than trying to get up on the couch to sleep (she like cushy stuff to lay on) we haven’t had any issues.

Sammy
![]() Dear A.D.O.P.T-
My name is Sam Wilson (aka Wally when I was in your company). I was adopt on April 1st 2003 by a wonderful Mommy and Daddy who have taken great care of me. We have had a few issues in the beginning that my Mommy and Daddy took care of. They found out that I had heart worms 2 months after the got me, but they took me to see Doctor Sam, ( Thats my name too, how cool is that), and he took care of me. He let me have my blanket and my new toys with me. Because of my blanket he had to put me in a bigger cage but that`s okay because then I had more room.
I am all better now and heathy as a moose. In fact that`s what my mommy and daddy call me some times, especially when I plop my 90 lbs. on daddy`s lap when he`s watching TV. :)
My Mommy and Daddy just got married in May and I got to be there to. They did it out side so I could be there with them and they even had grandma make me a little tuxedo to wear.
I love going on car rides to see my Grandpa and Grandma in Iowa. Grandpa always plays w/ me and brushes me, and I get to play and run in the yard with my cousin Wally (he`s a black lab/bulldog mix). Grandma lets me do the thing that I love the most, sit out side in the sun.
I love my new family and I know they love me too. They take me for walks all the time; even at 2 a.m., although daddy usually grumbles about that one, but when you have to go you have to go. Everyone refers to me as the neighborhood dog because everyone wants to see me, play with me, and pet me....that`s fine by me!
Here are some pictures of me, Mommy, and Daddy w/ my tuxedo; and me and my cousin Brandon laying down watching TV shortly after I moved in (boy was I thin). O` and one of me too.
Thanks for every thing,
Sammy, Missy, and Scott Wilson
