It’s Kitten Season!
As part of Adopt a Shelter Cat month, A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter hosted their first annual kitten shower. The celebration recognized the many dedicated and loving kitty “mommies” that have come through the doors this kitten season.
The shower was complete with a baby registry at Target where participants could give a gift of an essential item that helps to care for our growing family of kittens this time of year. Attendees enjoyed food, fun and several cat themed games as we celebrated our mom cats and their many little ones. Several of our kittens attended and took part in the afternoon of festivities. They especially enjoyed the opening of all their gifts!
A.D.O.P.T. currently has over 60 adorable kittens in our program ready to be adopted and anxiously awaiting their forever homes. From calico’s to tabbies, little girls to little boys we have a variety from which you are sure to find a purrrrfect match! We have convenient viewing hours Monday through Friday from noon to 8pm and weekends from noon to 3pm so stop by and take a peek.
The next event during this month’s celebration is our “Meow Luau” happening June 19th through June 27th. Come visit our kitties in their tropical paradise and take part in the Hawaiian festivities.
