A.D.O.P.T. seeks ‘forever homes’ for multitude of kittens

Mike, an orange tabby, is one of many kittens available for adoption at A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in Naperville (A.D.O.P.T. photo).
An abundance of homeless kittens continues arriving daily at Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment (A.D.O.P.T.) Pet Shelter in Naperville, a private, non-profit, no-kill facility.
In addition to approximately 20-25 in the “kitten room,” kittens number about 40 or more in foster care, shelter officials report.
“We have so many wonderful kittens waiting for their ‘forever homes,’” President Sandy Boston said. “We are working hard to promote our kittens as well as our cats to ensure everyone has a home.”
All kittens are fully vetted, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped, Boston added.
The cost of a single kitten is $100; two kittens cost $150.
Kittens are available for viewing and adoption Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. For additional weekday times, go to www.adoptpetshelter.org.
A.D.O.P.T. is located at 420 Industrial Drive, Naperville.
