As a fellow animal lover, you are being invited to join our family and to stand with us this year as we strive to make a difference in the lives of the many animals that need our help. We expect that this year will be quite challenging given the economic climate and its impact on animals in need. In order to thrive this year, we must continue to work to streamline our operations and contain costs, while trying to expand our animal care, adoptions and community outreach programs, lifesaving spay/neuter initiatives, and our continued commitment to those animals with special needs.
Rest assured your support of A.D.O.P.T. and its mission is critical to our success. Please consider joining us today, and helping us help the countless voiceless animals that come to our doors by becoming a member of our organization.
Our members are the backbone of our organization, a group on whom we can call to help support those values that make A.D.O.P.T. unique. As you know, we often accept into our programs many dogs and cats who otherwise might not have a chance…like Penny, a sweet Chihuahua mix who came to A.D.O.P.T. with a severely injured eye needing surgery to relieve her pain. She is recovering at the shelter but would love a family to call her own. Is yours that family?
Or perhaps Tuxedo, a senior domestic short hair that came in from a local animal control facility and upon medical examination was found to have a bone tumor on his jaw. He is a special needs cat longing for a family to provide him the love and care he so desperately deserves. Could that be your family? We strive to provide the best care possible for all animals who come through our doors, and seek to place them into forever homes that will allow them to thrive for the rest of their lives.
Your support will allow us to effectively expand and improve many of our programs. For example, A.D.O.P.T. provides low-cost spay/neuter services to low-income families and other area rescue groups. We are proud to be able to offer this valuable service to our community and expect this program to continue to indirectly save thousands of lives every year.
Last year A.D.O.P.T.’s Blessed Bonds temporary foster program offered assistance to nearly 3 times as many families and their pets than in prior years. With so many people experiencing personal crises such as illness, unemployment, or foreclosure, such foster care for companion animals is crucial preventing hundreds of animals from entering the animal welfare system every year.
These are just a few examples of how A.D.O.P.T. is expanding operations and striving to provide outreach to the community. We need your help and support to continue to push forward! I am asking you to become a member of A.D.O.P.T. and join our other supporters and animal lovers in rescuing, caring for, and placing into permanent loving homes as many animals as possible.
This year’s Membership Program offers exciting options for individuals and families, with new incentives sure to make you want to be a proud supporter of our outstanding organization!
Our Individual Membership includes our A.D.O.P.T. Member t-shirt (coupon for redemption of 1 t-shirt for an Individual).
Our Family Memberships includes our A.D.O.P.T. Member t-shirt (coupon for redemption for up to 4 t-shirts) and includes a 10% discount off registration/ticket price for all events having a participation.
For those who wish to further enhance their commitment to A.D.O.P.T.’s animals, we offer the Lifetime Membership option. Lifetime Members receive the same incentives as does the Family Membership, plus 20% off all A.D.O.P.T. merchandise plus your name engraved on a special plaque honoring lifetime members and their commitment to the animals to be displayed at the shelter.
Corporate Memberships are also available.
Your membership is vital to our ability to implement and expand programs such as our Blessed Bonds program and on-site spay/neuter clinic, to care for special-needs animals, and to increase our overall intake and adoption initiatives.
